This position offers an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of environmental projects, work with a great team, and join a successful growing organization with a reputation for high quality work and top notch employees Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Phase I and Phase II ESAs * ACM sampling and reporting * Air monitoring * Following health and safety procedures * Health and Safety audits * Recording field notes * Soil and groundwater remediation * Installation of soil borings and monitoring wells * Groundwater and soil sampling * Operation of various technical instrumentation for data collection, analysis and interpretation * Participation in engineering design of environmental remediation systems * Site inspection * Engineering work may include site characterization and remedial design, remedial alternatives/effectiveness evaluations, pilot testing and construction/installation oversights Office work consists of technical report writing, data analysis, and data tabulation, as well as cost estimating and regulatory file review. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be self motivated, can work in all weather conditions and have the ability to work independently. OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training preferred. Level of grade will be determined upon years of experience. Local candidates only ' no relocation or candidate travel reimbursement for this position Experience - External: Basic and Required Qualifications: * Minimum years of experience: 2+ * Education required: BS in Geology, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science * Skills required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent technical oral and written communication Additional and Preferred Qualifications: * Education preferred: BS in Geology, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science * Registrations/Certifications preferred: OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER * Years experience preferred: 2+ * This position does requires travel. Travel amount is negligible. * A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position. * This position does not manage others.
