The Stockade Consulting Group, located in Schenectady, NY, is seeking people looking to make a difference in the lives of students at the college level. As an enrollment/advancement professional, you will be joining a staff of highly trained individuals who conduct calls on behalf of our client colleges and universities across the country. Simply put, you would serve as an ambassador for our institutional clients and, therefore, must have completed at least three (3) years of college. We are a rapidly growing company and – depending on your background, skills and performance – this could lead to additional opportunities in the near future. The pay starts at $10.00 per hour, plus we offer additional incentives from time to time. We speak with college/university alumni and high school students, so we work mainly in the evenings (6pm – 9pm) and weekends (Saturday, 10am - 3pm and Sunday, 4pm - 8pm). The position requires a minimum of 15 hours per week, including one day on the weekend. Initial training in our Schenectady office is typically one to three weeks, after which you would work out of your home. Our clients are very selective of those chosen to call on their behalf, so please be prepared for a rigorous hiring process. While we do establish client centered standards and expectations, we strive to facilitate a comfortable work environment that is not driven by unrealistic, pressurized "sales" goals. Job Requirements: Applicants must have completed at least three (3) years of higher education and be conversational and articulate. Equally as important, you must possess superior listening skills, be friendly, outgoing and punctual. You must have minimal computer experience to operate our fairly simple system from your own computer.
