A Territory Assistant (TA) calling on Walgreens and CVS stores would typically work in a territory with 12 - 20 stores. The TA is responsible for making regular store calls (stores are seen approximately every 4 - 6 weeks). The TA serves as the main Walgreens and CVS store contact and is responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with Walgreens and CVS Card Specialists & Store Managers as they meet with them on each store visit. The TA would handle store level requests and activities in a timely manner, using their supervisor as a prime resource to provide direction, assist with questions and help resolve problems. They are responsible for training Walgreens and CVS Card Specialists in all assigned stores on the best methods to maintain their Hallmark departments and optimize sales. The TA is also responsible for issuing credits for products or programs as directed, making sure floor plans of Hallmark departments are up to date and correct for all assigned Walgreens accounts, making sure fixtures & signing are complete and up to date for all stores, and assisting their supervisor with Walgreens and CVS Card Specialist Training Seminar preparation and presentations. Other duties include supervision and hands-on involvement in completing minor or major (full department) installations as requested. Each TA is also responsible for managing service, administrative, travel & installation time within budgets given. TAs will be required to access information and direction through Hallmark's on-line intranet program, therefore regular access to the Internet and email is required. Access to as well as a basic understanding and exposure to Microsoft Word and Excel is also required in order to open, read, and interpret communications provided. Each TA is issued a Hallmark handheld computer called an INFOlink that is used for time reporting as well as a store level communication device. Each employee is required to comply with all Hallmark policies, including accurately reporting all time worked. This position requires consistent and reliable access to an analog phone line. Analog phone service is basic telephone service provided by the local telephone company. The transmission cannot be completed through cellular service or through digital service. If you have phone service through an internet provider such as Time Warner, Comcast or Cox, you most likely do not have analog service. As a Territory Assistant for this position, your territory will include approximately 11-20 Walgreen and CVS stores with a central location of Schenectady, NY. Besides Schenectady, your territory will also include the following cities: Saratoga Springs, Scotia, and Gloversville. The service day schedule is flexible, Monday - Friday as you will determine your schedule based upon the needs of the your accounts. While hours are not guaranteed, you will typically average 6-10 hours per week.
