Our team is growing again and we are looking for a WEB APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER to join us. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills (with a strong attention to detail), the knowledge to perform their duties diligently, be a team player, and the ability to work in an ever-growing, fast-paced environment. Working with the rest of our programming team, your responsibilities will include: Developing web sites and applications for our client base; working directly with clients to produce their sites and applications Maintain and expand on development of our internal administration system and regional portal websites (LakeGeorge.com, Saratoga.com, Albany.com, and others) Collaborate with other team members on larger-scale projects Assist with the team effort of upkeep of our web servers Desired Skills & Experience: Demonstrated abilities in the following web languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP. ColdFusion, jQuery Framework, Flash/ActionScript and Flex/MXML experience are all big pluses. Experience with mobile environments (iOS, Android) is a plus. Demonstrated experience working with WordPress as both a blog and CMS tool is required. Experience building WordPress templates is required. Experience writing custom plugins is a big plus. Experience with MySQL required, Microsoft SQL Server is a plus. Basic web server management skills with both Windows-based and Linux-based servers. 2-5 years of experience in a web programming role is required.
