The data warehouse consultant will work with the existing developers on projects for the creation and modification of processes used to collect and disseminate data to OASAS' network of local governments and service providers. These projects consist of but not limited to: changes in mandated Federal reporting requirements on client services; gathering and delivering of information for research; development of business intelligence interfaces for business users; development of performance measures for prevention, treatment and recovery services; development of a program scorecard; and Enhance the design, performance and capability of the existing data warehouse database. Description: Contractor will support the existing Data Warehouse environment as well as participate in the development and enhancement of the agency's Data Warehouse. Contractor will provide technical resources for the support and maintenance of Data Warehouse activities at OASAS. Contractor will assist OASAS staff in resolving technical issues and/or software conflicts, including working with Oracle technical support staff as needed. During this activity, the Contractor will perform tasks such as, but not limited to: Assist in the analysis and coding to maintain and enhance the current Data Warehouse environment, Attend planning sessions and team meetings as necessary, Identify and resolve data warehouse issues in a timely manner; including, but not limited to, issues surrounding design, development and software, Document all work in accordance with OASAS standards, and Monitoring for performance, stability and authorized use.
